Trekking seasons of Nepal
Trekking in Nepal can be undertaken through of the year in some trekking destinations like Poon hill trek, Ghandruk village trek, Nagarkot Dhulikhel and many more. There are four main seasons in Nepal and each season has its distinct attraction to offer. The season is classified as autumn, winter, spring and summer seasons.
Autumn season (mid-September to Mid-November)
This season offers excellent weather and beautiful mountain views. At the monsoon is over by the September. The fresh air and sky are crystal clear offering clear panoramic views of Himalayan range Annapurna, Langtang, Everest, and many others. This is also a season of festivals, many travelers visit Nepal for trekking purpose especially in this season.
Winter season (December to February)
This season is noted for occasional snowfall at the higher elevation, hence it is ideal for trekking at the lower elevation generally below 3000 m. we can do trekking on Poonhill trek, Ghandruk village, Ghorepani Ghandruk trekking, Tamang heritage trail and many more which is situated below the 3000 M elevation.
Spring season (March to May)
Different varieties of wild flora and fauna especially rhododendron makes hillside of Nepal a periodic during the season. It is warm at a lower elevation but at the higher elevation that is 3000 m the mountain views are excellent temperature is moderate and the weather is excellent.
Summer season (Jun to August)
Summer month continues mid-September making traveler Waite and warm. This season is based for the keens’ botanist as the higher valleys bloomed with wide flowers and vegetation. It is a recommendation to carry insect proctor cream.
